Feasibility Study
We are currently in the beginning discussions with a potential group of businesses to work together to begin the feasibility study process. A feasibility study is a document that examines the area of incorporation to determine if it is viable to become a future sustainable city. It will look at the fiscal, demographic and economic health of the Lehigh Acres area to determine feasibility. The State of Florida requires that to become a city you must project the income and expenses the city will incur during the first five years. Preliminarily it is believed that to have this document completed it can cost anywhere between $30,00-$50,000. This is where the fundraising and donations will be crucial to getting this accomplished. There was a previous feasability study completed for Lehigh Acres in 2007 that can be found on the previous documents page.
